Site: Cache Creek Nature Preserve

Location
Description:
The
130 acre preserve is west of Woodland and north of Davis and Winters,
below the Capay Dam. It is managed by the Cache
Creek Conservancy, which promotes habitat restoration along the creek.
The preserve serves as a wildlife sanctuary, and encompasses five different
types of habitat, from wetlands to upland oak forest.
Meeting
Space:
Inside: picnic tables and benches
in the large barn; inside workshop area for up to 15 adults
Outside:
lots of open space for groups
Educational component/activities/Programs:
The
Preserve offers self-guided tours, guided tours, and educational activities.
