The Nature Kids

Sarah stood in the back of the room, loudly declaring that bugs were ìgrossî and she would never even go near them, much less ever touch one.  But as the session progressed and the fascinating life histories and characteristics of Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, Stick Insects, and Preying Mantises were demonstrated and elaborated on, Sarah slowly crept forward.

By the end of the session it was Sarah who was holding hissing cockroaches and proud of overcoming her fear and finally realizing what entomologists have always known - bugs are cool.
